17 Cosmetics buys

So somehow today, I ended up in Boots, which normally always spells disaster for my poor little debit card, but today I was well behaved and only purchased a few items.
I have recently really grown fond of 17 cosmetics, they are such great value and really lovely to work with... So I added the below to my collection (it would have been rude not too!)
First of all this gorgeous blusher in stunning First Flush, this isn't a colour I would normally go for but it looked so pretty I thought I would give it a try. This was £3.49 which is an absolute bargain! I'm a big fan of 17 blushers (which I know a lot of you aren't) I find that the pigment isn't too strong, which means the chances of me looking like a rage doll are slim!
Next up is an eye shadow cream in Wild Midnight Blue costing £3.99.
This is a gorgeous colour with just the right amount of shimmer and sparkly, it's a cream form which I'm really enjoying at the moment (similar to my Maybeline one) I shall defiantly be wearing this the next time I go on a night out. It also comes in the perfect sized little pot - not too big, not too small.
And because I bought both of these products I got this lovely little 'Get bronzed' kit for free! Included in this is a lipgloss, In The Nude, an eye shadow, Statuesque and a cream blush in Bronze which are all gorgeous and a perfect little freebie - thanks 17!

Brides magazine - O.P.I

Anyone who buys Brides magazine know that they often do a special giveaway freebie page, where all you need to do is cut out the page and send it off with your name and address... EASY!!
So I sent the page away with my name and address and this is what I got... O.P.I nail lacquer in pink I love you, and my gosh I love it.
First of all O.P.I is one of my favourite nail polish makes, and secondly this is such a pretty natural pinky and absolutely prefect for any bride.
Let me know what you think and if you received this polish too?

Color tattoo 24 hours Maybelline

Im a huge lover of dark smokey eyeshadow, but I do find it can take quite a while and not ideal when you up early for work and trying to get ready in a rush. So I was after an eye shadow that was easy to apply but didn't look cheap (if you get my drift)
Then I came across the Color tattoo eye shadow by Maybelline. It's a creamy shadow which you can apply with your fingers. The colour I went for a bronze colour which is gorgeous, they also do a fab bight electric blue but I don't think I'm brave enough to wear that. Its very pigmented so you only need one application and your ready to go.
What do you think?

Holiday Buys....

It seems like forever ago that I was lying by a pool in gorgeous sunshine in Tenerife, but in fact it was just the other week. While I was away I treated myself to a few goodies that I have had my eye on for a while, Plus I wanted to take advantage of the Duty Free discount!
So the first thing I got was the Gucci Guilty perfume. I have had my eye on this for a while, my friend uses it and she always smells so lovely, so I thought I would have a little go. Its such a gorgeous smell and I really like the bottle too, I splashed out on the 75ml which was £50 duty free price. Its a scent I would tend to use in the evening as it can be quite strong and is a more sophisticated smell (Which I'm not very often!), I prefer a lighter spray in the day, I normally use Marc Jacobs (Biggest Fan!) or CK summer, Im also love Miss Dior at the moment.
My next cheeky purchase was a Clinique Chubby Stick, I have been banging on about these for ages and I finally got my hands on one. With my Duty free discount I paid £12 which is pretty good as they are around £18 in the shops. I went for Chunky Cherry which is a beautiful pinky colour, I was a little disappointed with the lack of pigment, they are very balm like but it has done wonders for my lips, it was a great little lip stick to have around the pool! I love how chunky the stick is which makes it easy to find in your hand bag and to apply, I will defiantly be buying a few more.
My final purchase was my favourite and something I am very excited about, The YSL Shocking mascara. A friend of mine told me about this mascara and really rated it so when I saw it I knew I wanted to give it a go, I paid around £20 (I'm not 100% sure how much these are in the shops, I guess around £20)
I am a big fan of YSL make-up and the Touche Eclat is a staple in my make-up bag! I am a bit of a mascara whore if I'm honest and tend to swap brands trying to find new and better mascara, but I think I have found the one. Its such a great product, the application is so easy as the brush is perfect for my eyelashes, it also smells fantastic which is something I would never normally say about mascaras. Please if you get the chance to buy this then please do, I got the black but I would love to know how the other colours are.
Let me know if you have used any of these products too and what you thought of them!
