ESPA Essential Moisturising Balm

I have recently discovered the ESPA brand and have been really impressed with their results.
I have already tried the cleansing milk and think its fab, but I got my hands on the moisturising balm.
This is a gorgeous balm thats actually quite runny, it's sort of a gel texture. It has a really lovely citrus scent to it which I love! It leaves my skin really soft and holds the moisture for ages, sometimes I find after a while my skin is dry again. My skin absolutely loves this!
I would recommend this If you get the chance, ESPA have some lovely Christmas gift sets at the moment too. Let me know I'd you have tried any ESPA products.

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder

Maybelline isn't a brand that features heavily in my makeup draws, not because I don't l particularly like or hate it. I just find it a bit middley and I tend to either buy high end or value cheap as chips!
But as Boots have their 3 for 2 offer I thought this would be a good time to stock up, so I bought a few Maybelline products, including this Fit Me powder.
I picked colour 220 which is a fair colour. It comes in a little compact case with a mirror and little pad to apply with. The colour match is great on my skin and it really feels smooth over my foundation. It's a lovely product to work with.
My only negative is the packaging, although I like a compact product,, this one I just know is going to get messy because of the black plastic casing around the edge of the powder, nothing a little clean won't fix though!

Rimmel lippies!

So I think it’s fair to say I have recently developed an unhealthy obsession with lipsticks, I have trillions.
When I was younger I was pretty scared of wearing lipstick, mainly because I used to get it all over my teeth and make myself look like a prat. However, recently I have discovered the art of applying lippy and have been a lot more successful.
One particular brand I keep going back to is Rimmel, specificallythe Kate Moss range. Rimmel is such a fantastic brand, I total trust it and such great value for money, I am also a really big fan of the Kate Moss range, LOVE HER!

I find these lipsticks really moisturising on my lips and the staying power is great. Obvisouly after a few hours it does wear off but considering the price I am happy for this to happen (If they were around the £20 mark, this would not be okay!)
I currently have 4…
1 – 01 – This is a gorgeous Hollywood red, fantastic for parties! Such a beautiful colour.
2 – 08 – A darker dusky pink, you will notice this is the one I have used most. Great for ever day usage.
3 – 20 – a bright summer pink, I love this colour. It reminds me of holiday!
4 – 113 – A lovely nude colour from the new matte range. This isn’t a colour I would normally go for but I really loved it, I have worn it a few times and with a bit of lip gloss it looks fab!

These lipsticks are around the £5 mark, such great value. They are really worth a buy if you fancy trying new colours and experimenting. The only down this is they don’t have names, I love a lippy with a swish name, not numbers!
Let me know if you have tried them too and what you think...

Clinique Super Balanced Foundation

It’s become apparent to me that I’m not the only person constantly on a mission to find the perfect foundation. I have tried every brand going, from cheap drug store brands to high end break the bank products.

The problem I have with my skin is that I have a few scars around my cheeky from when I was younger and used to pick my spots. They aren’t terribly noticeable but I am really self-conscious about them, and would never go out without make-up covering them. Some days they seem to show up more than others so I tend to go for a really good coverage foundation that isn’t cakey but still gives me flawless skin (In other words I want a foundation that doesn’t exist!)

A few months ago I was sent a sample of the Clinique Super balanced foundation. I gave it a go and was so happy with the results I went and purchased the full sized bottle.

The staff at the Clinique counter at Boots in Kings Cross were so helpful and really spent the time matching my skin tone to the right colour. I have quite pale skin so I have the 02 Fair colour. I have read reviews on this product about people not being happy with the bottle as it doesn’t have a pump, this didn’t really bother me, but a good solution is just to buy a small pump and fix it on.

What I love so much about this foundation is the lightness of it while still giving amazing coverage. So many people comment on how flawless my skin looks and how fresh faced I look. It’s priced at £21.50 which I know is a lot but it lasts for ages and I am happy to spend this amount on something I used daily.

I am really interested if anyone else has used the product and what they thought of it. Did you love it/hate it?
